Loving children is tough, fun and fulfilling, but tough! The toughest thing of all is that you love in order to let go. It is, perhaps, one of the moments when we get closest to God’s loving and longing as God also allows us the space to be ourselves.
The start of the new Academic Year means that parents around the country are mixing their joy and pride with tears as their children settle in to new places and start new lives.
Our prayers are with parents and their children, and with schools colleges and universities.
