Chris and Linda Haines
Rev Chris and Linda Haines are serving as Mission Partner and Accompanying Volunteer respectively with the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and Americas in the Belize Honduras Methodist District. They are based in Utila, one of the Bay Islands off the north coast of Honduras, which has two Methodist churches and a Methodist bilingual school (English and Spanish). Though only called to overseas work during Chris' Sabbatical in 2018 in Brazil, they have both been involved in world mission for many years, having led the Jersey Circuit Missions Committee before Chris entered the Methodist ministry fifteen years ago. Chris was previously a zookeeper and a teacher, Linda is a local preacher and has taught Junior Church, and both have been involved in working with children and young people in church.
